| 法国格勒诺布尔 Vigny-musset 养老院面积不大，3700 平方米的养老院只有两层高，建筑沿着场地周边布置隔绝城市噪音，中间形成两个半开放的庭院，周边环绕着的是一层半开放的走廊，远处的雪山和近处的草坪，养老院把自然与建筑融为一体。杭州良渚文化村的随园嘉树，作为一个六万平方米左右的养老社区，中心区域是鱼骨状分布的五层养老公寓，中间区域则是位于地下一层的公共空间，下层庭院的嵌入让地下一层感觉像是在地面一样，充满阳光与新鲜空气。所有服务只需乘坐电梯来到地下一层的公共服务空间。日本的千叶市的淑德共生院，建筑面积一共7645 平方米。利用一个二层的空中花园，把两座四层方形的养老公寓单元连接起来，形成两层立体的景观环境。与此同时， 立体绿化的设计拉近了人与自然的距离。 Vigny-musset Nursing Home in Grenoble, France, has a small area.
